A concluding event, ‘Let’s Soch- Ek Naya Nazaria’ was organized on February 11, 2017. The event was attended by around 300 people including professors, website contributors, representatives of organizations in Pune and youth from colleges. The gathering was happy to attend various programs such as discussion on the ‘Mass Molestation at Bangalore on the eve of new year’, interactions with Sakhi Gokhale & Suvrat Joshi, young & renowned Marathi artists, a session by Bindu Madhav Khire on ‘Myths & Superstitions around Sex & Sexuality’ and interactions with Gunjan Sharma, an activist in the field of Sexuality education from Delhi.

The event was organized to celebrate the success of Tathapi’s one of the initiatives ‘I Soch- Let’s Talk sexuality’ in last three years from 2014 to 2017. We could reach around 3000 youth through different activities such as orientation programs, Sessions in colleges, NSS camps & campaigns in colleges. We also could reach more than 3 lacs people through website & social networking platforms. We created a lot of content in various forms like booklet, videos, informative articles and posters on gender stereotypes, equality, bullying, harassment and sexuality. The content is highly admired and has proven to be a valuable resource in the field of sexuality. A video & guidebook for ‘Committee against Sexual Harassment at workplace’ is one of the much acclaimed resources we have created during this project and has proven to be a very useful resource for educational institutes, corporate and other organizations.

This initiative is successful in creating a space for positive, affirmative environment for a dialogue around sexuality based on rights and responsibilities, equality and diversity with the help of website & social networking platforms.
